Fuel Cycle of Nuclear Power Plants

Business Unit together with subsidiary service organization ALTA 32, s.r.o. provide a complete solution in the area of fuel cycle of nuclear power plants, namely from the supply of nuclear materials and new nuclear fuel to optimization studies of its utilization in the reactor even after its irradiation. Supplies of fuel elements for Czech and Slovakian nuclear power plants represent one of the traditional activities of the ALTA Company since its foundation. Since the year 1995, ALTA is the exclusive representative of the Russian company TVEL, a producer and supplier of nuclear fuel, on the territory of the Czech Republic and since 2010 also on the territory of Slovakia. We further collaborate on other projects within the Russian Federation and the EU.

■ import and export of materials and goods belonging to items of dual-use

Engineering Services

■ provision of highly qualified engineering services in the area of management of the whole fuel cycle of nuclear power plants and experimental reactors
■ optimization of economic and technical analyses of the utilization of nuclear fuel in nuclear power plants
■ provision of import and export licences for the import and export of nuclear materials and items of dual-use
■ licensing of transport cases/containers for ground and aerial transportation of nuclear materials on the territory of the EU
